The 2 Dimensional project is based on creating a recipe without any use of text and to visual the process of cooking with only visual elements. I chose to bake a flapjack and used my process to help think of ways I could illustrate how it was done and how much ingredients it would have taken.
It was honestly hard to tackle this project without wanting to add text as I wasn't sure how to make the ingredients look exactly like they are but I feel I have done a decent enough job. I chose to do this portrait as I wanted all the Ingredients to fall down to 'create' the flapjack which is being baked. I have two different finals as I was stuck on a dark or light background as I feel both work very well but the dark background catches the eye more and leads the use of wheat around the panels.
I tackled the challenge traditionally at first but changed my idea to a digital look to make it look more clear.
